About
I'm TC Lee (李澤中), based in Taipei. I've spent 10+ years opening new markets, building teams, and establishing entities from scratch — in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and now back in Taiwan working on European hardware markets. Along the way I started a company in Hungary, shut it down, and came back into corporate without leaving the founder mindset.
I write about what I actually do: the friction, the tools, the thinking behind market development and operational work in complex environments.
Civil defense & national security
I'm Chairman and Founder of Civil Defense Advancement Taiwan (CDAT) and 港湖民防團, a civil defense organization I built from zero that grew to 40+ active regular participants within 10 months. We deliver training in BLS, TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care), drone operations, radio communications (conventional, mesh networks, TAK/ATAK), and whole-society readiness exercises.
In 2025–2026 I served as Executive Manager for Taiwan's largest civilian-organized defense exercise: 100 participants, 70+ staff, a 3-day event with an NT$800,000 operating budget. I led all operations — participant management, accommodation, transportation, medical safety, communications infrastructure, scenario design, referee coordination, and actor briefings across six functional units. The exercise received national media coverage (CNA, YDN Taiwan).
I also serve as Project Coordinator and Research Assistant to a Committee Member of the Whole Society Resilience Committee under the Office of the President of Taiwan, supporting academic research on civil defense mobilization and stakeholder coordination across civil and government organizations.
Separately, I manage a NT$1.2M information resilience initiative co-organized by Taiwan Liberty Society and CDAT — developing asymmetric information resilience tools to counter authoritarian information operations. Partners include Ukrainian information warfare experts, Philippine civil society organizations, HITCON (Taiwan Hackers Association), Doublethink Lab, and the Digital Resilience Lab.
Business development
I currently lead Western Europe market development at Axiomtek — industrial computing, AI-embedded vision systems, and mission-critical hardware. Within six months I identified and developed defense-sector opportunities: coordinating evaluation of AI vision embedded PCs for autonomous maritime operations (unmanned surface vessels), and managing legacy military radio communication hardware accounts.
Before Axiomtek, I built and led an 8-member cross-national team at MSI across 7 countries in Central and Eastern Europe — achieving 35% average YoY revenue growth for three consecutive years and growing regional market share by 10% during the global pandemic. I started the Bulgaria market from zero: 66% above first-year target, doubled revenue in Year 2.
AI implementation
I'm the CEO-designated AI Lead at Axiomtek, proposing and leading a company-wide AI capability transformation program. The rollout targets 9 advanced builders and 24 professional AI users across sales and marketing by end of 2026. Tools in active development include automated RFQ processing, a sales intelligence platform, and travel expense automation.
I'm simultaneously a practitioner using these tools and someone building the infrastructure to deploy them at scale — that dual perspective shapes most of what I write about AI.
